Shenzhen is hot right now (literally)! Robots doing backflips, cars driving themselves better than your uncle, buildings that look like spaceships. Cool? Yes. Instagram-worthy? Absolutely!

But for me the most amazing thing has been: THE PEOPLE!

Every time I got lost (which happened a lot), someone just… helped. No English needed. No drama. Just gestures, translation apps, and zero patience for me overthinking things. Straight to the point.
Or when I have an idea and want to make it happen… Shenzhen speed is something you learn very quickly once you’re here. Things move fast, and somehow people always find a way to make them happen.

Exhibit A: the blurry photo. Two absolute legends at Shenzhen Airport who stopped what they were doing just to help me send a postcard. A postcard! They treated it like it was a rescue mission.

I could go on with countless examples, but it’s a bit like love. You don’t explain Shenzhen. You experience it. So come for the Social Media pictures. Stay for the Humans❤️
